Why should I have a real-time integration between nCino and my core?

 

Speed

Automated booking for commercial lending is 10x faster than manual data entry. Without automated booking, retail lending and deposit account origination is often unprofitable for small dollar accounts.

Cost / Employee Satisfaction

Automated booking is cheaper than a dedicated human resource and allows existing staff to perform higher value-add activities than copying information from one system to another. 

Security / Accuracy

Integrations can be continuously monitored with all activities logged. Our customers find that the data quality on auto-booked loans/deposits is dramatically higher than manual booking.

Customer Satisfaction

When should I consider doing this?

 

nCino real-time integrations can be built in parallel with nCino implementation or anytime after. Our recommended approach is that it's most efficient for a customer do it in parallel with initial implementation.

 

How long does the project take?

 

Budget about 2-3 months for the project from contract signing and system access to delivery. Get started on getting underlying system access as early as you can - Reach out to us for help if you're not sure what that means for your systems.

 

Which nCino products are supported?

 

All of them. Yup, you heard that right. We have live customers who use Sandbox with their nCino commercial, retail, small business and deposit account modules.

 

Which cores are supported?

 

We support all the major cores in use amongst nCino customers. Per our NDAs, we’re not allowed to list them here but drop us a note or reach out to your nCino sales rep for that information.

 

How do you connect to my core?

 

We’ve connected with cores hosted on premise, by core vendors, or within third party data centers.  To facilitate access, our team works with network administrators to establish site-to-site VPNs adhering to security best practices.  After a network connection exists, each core’s unique middleware solutions are used to accomplish integration objectives.

 

Are there other supported systems?

 

Yes (and that's why customers love us!), we have integration adapters for most of the core processors as well as adaptors for consumer, commercial and mortgage loan origination systems, deposit account opening systems, banking product POS and marketing systems, CRMs, data marts, KYC/AML systems, credit scoring models, data aggregators, ACH processing and chatbots in the North American banking market. How does security work? Do you store any PII?

 

Security is a core priority — we use multiple technological and operational defense layers to protect client systems and data. We can always produce our due diligence packet with the results of our annual SOC 2 Type 2 audits and penetration tests, but feel its critical to view this as an ongoing partnership with the risk teams at our customers. A number of our customers have commented on how easy it is easy to produce reports within Glyue for regulatory audits.

Sandbox Banking is built on Amazon Web Services but by default we don’t store any PII. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. More complex scenarios including data masking, selective retention, dynamic role & api payload field-based policies can be supported for enterprise and innovation team needs.

 

What is Glyue?

 

Glyue is our no-code integration builder. For many of our customers, Sandbox Banking’s implementation team uses Glyue to configure integrations. Some of our customers have internal development teams that use Glyue as a complement to existing integration tools they use.

 

How does pricing and support work?

 

Sandbox charges an initial implementation and an annual license fee that includes ongoing support and maintenance. This includes dealing with updates to underlying systems as well as business logic changes to the integrations.

We’ve come up with a custom pricing grid broken down by nCino product family that your sales rep can access.

Typically the total price of a Sandbox Banking integration across its entire contract life including implementation is less than just the 1 year license price charged by competitors like Mulesoft and Informatica.

 

What else have customers done with Sandbox Banking?

 

We’re proud that our customers use Sandbox for multiple integrations.  Glyue and its APIs are designed to be reused across projects.

Customers are retrieving real-time balance & transaction history into Salesforce. They are updating existing Customer addresses, phone numbers in Salesforce and sending that information to the core. Often times they use Sandbox to retrieve data from systems where nCino doesn’t yet have a productized integration

We’ve worked closely with our customers to understand their business and collaborate on integrations to multiple systems. For example, we worked with one of our customers to develop ACH sweep functionality that every night enables their business customers to automatically consolidate multiple external bank balances into a single account custodied with our customer.
